We farm like the land and the animals matter–because they do.

That means no artificial herbicides, no pesticides, and no shortcuts.

Our cows live outside on pasture, in fresh air and open space—the way they’re meant to.

We pay close attention to the health of our land and our herd. That care shows up in the milk: rich, clean, and honest in a way that’s hard to imitate and impossible to mass produce.

We believe that when farming is done right, food doesn’t need to be over-processed to be safe. Healthy soil, well-treated animals, and thoughtful practices lead to milk you can trust.

This isn’t abstract for us. We live here. We raise our families here. We drink this milk every day. We’re proud to share it with you.

We're Dustin & Rachel

We’re Reed Family Dairy, owned and operated by our family—Dustin and Rachel Reed—in Barbourville, Kentucky. We live here on the farm with our three daughters, and this place is both our home and our life’s work.

For Dustin, this all started years ago with a simple but lasting memory: visiting a neighbor’s farm with his father in the evenings, watching the cows being milked. From that point on, he knew he wanted to be a dairy farmer. That dream became reality when we purchased our farm in 2021 and began milking in the fall of 2025.

Today, our herd includes three Jersey cows—Dottie, Daisey, and Mia. They spend their days on pasture and are fed a healthy, mostly grass-based diet. We milk using a machine, and the milk is immediately cooled and stored at 38°F to ensure freshness and quality.

We’re committed to natural, regenerative, and chemical-free farming. Our cows are rotationally grazed, and we do not use glyphosate on our land. We believe that how we farm matters—for the animals, the land, and the families we serve. Having both grown up in southeast Kentucky, we care deeply about this community. Our goal is to provide our region with access to fresh, clean, and healthy milk. As our herd and operation continue to grow, we’re excited to serve more families while staying true to the values we started with.

Our Promise

We feed our cows grass like God designed them to eat, let them live on pasture where God created them to live, and enjoy the milk they produce in its natural form — clean, nutritious, and delicious.
